In terms of standards, BOA meets the S3 normative requirement.
This means that BOA meets the following requirements:

Uses

This versatility is made possible by its easy-to-clean smooth leather and its sole with mixed cleats.
Maintenance
The BOA S3 work shoe is very easy to clean with soapy water and a sponge.
If the shoe is damp, you can air dry it by removing the insole. Do not place the leather near a heat source such as a radiator, as this could damage it.
