CROSSFIBER® TOE CAP
S.24's latest innovation in safety toe caps. The CROSSFIBER® is non-metallic as it is made of a glass fiber/carbon fiber mesh.
The addition of carbon to the composition allows for a 33% weight reduction compared to classic fiberglass toe caps. The decrease in weight, especially at the front of the shoe, reduces wearer fatigue.
SOFTSHIELD® ANTI-PERFORATION SOLE
Composed of compacted microfilaments, the SOFTSHIELD® anti-perforation sole is an ultra-light alternative to Kevlar textile plates, as it halves the component's weight.
ULTRALIGHT EVO® OUTSOLE
The ULTRALIGHT EVO sole has been designed to achieve minimal weight while meeting standard requirements.
The lightest sole in our range, the ULTRALIGHT EVO is composed mainly of EVA, which is by far the most common material in sports due to its ability to combine cushioning and lightness. Renowned for its grip, the full rubber of the ULTRALIGHT EVO wear layer provides very good slip resistance on all types of smooth floors.
Rubber is one of the most grip-providing materials for the ground. This is one of the reasons why it is widely used in sports footwear.
The second reason is the material's resistance. Its use in tires is proof of this. Rubber is also a stabilized material. This means that once vulcanized, it does not change over time. It is also very heat resistant.
